11th August 2019
The exhibition called Grisia was firstly held in 1967 and since then it has become a trademark of the town of Rovinj, in first place thanks to its authenticity, but also due to the popularity it soon achieved not only within artistic circles, but also among art consumers. On the second Sunday in August, the Grisia Street, teeming all year round with art galleries and studios, transforms into a unique exhibition in the open. On this very special day, academics and aspiring artists get the chance to present their work to the audience in a very impressive open-air gallery, exhibiting their art on ancient walls, stairs, doors and windows of Rovinj’s century old houses.
The exhibition has also a competitive component, so even if you are not experienced art lovers, do not miss the opportunity to visit one of the largest and most long vital exhibitions under the open sky.
