Rovinj welcomes December with a festive Advent program
In keeping with tradition, the Rovinj Tourist Board is once again organizing a rich array of Advent events throughout the city. From the newly renovated main square and the Lungomare promenade in front of the Grand Park Hotel and the town market, to the Batana Ecomuseum and the Church of St. Euphemia, where life-sized nativity scenes will be displayed, Rovinj is the place to be this holiday season.
A big new addition this year is the long-awaited return of the real ice skating rink, which will be open from 10 AM to 10 PM — completely free of charge!
Visitors can look forward to live music, delicious festive menus at Advent stalls and restaurants, as well as a fun-filled children’s program featuring animation and creative workshops.
New Year’s Eve for all generations
A special New Year's celebration for children will take place on December 31st at noon, featuring an exciting program tailored for the youngest visitors, including a DJ and face painting. The evening festivities will heat up with performances by Grooversi, followed by a performance from the legendary Plavi Orkestar, while DJ Nikola z Kukurini will keep the party going late into the night.
This spectacular New Year’s celebration is the grand finale of the “Christmas by the Sea” program, which spans the entire month of December. Guests can enjoy a vibrant entertainment schedule complemented by the offerings of Rovinj’s restaurants and the Batana House Association, which will present Rovinj’s unique winter delicacies.
